These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Celvanto (the "Service"), operated by Smart Technology Investments LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Celvanto, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Celvanto uses Energy Star product data, DOE efficiency standards, and EIA energy pricing data to help consumers compare the total lifecycle cost of major appliances including HVAC systems, water heaters, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. The Service provides estimated lifecycle costs, Monte Carlo energy price projections, incentive stacking calculations, and maintenance modeling.

3. Not Financial or Professional Advice

Celvanto is not a licensed contractor, energy auditor, or financial advisor. Cost estimates are based on publicly available data and statistical models. Consult a qualified HVAC professional for installation recommendations.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Cost estimates are derived from Energy Star, DOE, EIA, and DSIRE data sources updated on their own schedules. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Cost estimates are probabilistic, not guarantees.

5. Incentive Disclaimer

Federal IRA tax credits, state rebates, and utility incentives displayed are sourced from the DSIRE database and may change without notice. Verify current eligibility with your tax advisor and local utility provider.

6. Credits and Billing

Celvanto uses a per-report credit system via Stripe. Single reports cost $9 (1 credit), report packs provide 5 credits ($29), and API credit packs are available. All fees are in U.S. dollars and non-refundable except as required by law.

7. API Access

API subscribers receive access subject to rate limits in the documentation. API credentials are non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its optimization methodology and compiled data outputs, is owned by Smart Technology Investments LLC. Underlying government datasets are in the public domain.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Limitation of Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
